PGA National Resort & Spa has long been known as one of south Florida’s most legendary golf destinations. Now under new ownership, the resort seeks to become known as the premier golf resort destination state wide.
The resort embarked upon a multi-million dollar renovation of the public areas,
restaurants, pool, and private Member Clubhouse in 2007. The project re-defined the PGA National Resort
experience at every level. Renovations began with a
re-designed front entrance for the resort, and have continued with a
completely renovated lobby, featuring a contemporary lobby bar called iBar, a new restaurant, Ironwood Grille, expanded
Business Concierge Lounge, and Café Pronto serving Starbuck’s Coffee. Just outside the lobby’s back wall of
floor-to-ceiling windows, guests see a completely redesigned free-form pool with lush landscaping, water features, a dedicated children’s pool and play area, and re-developed Wave Bar & Grill.
Part of this area’s enhanced features is an exciting 5,000 square foot outdoor pool pavilion overlooking the
resort’s 26-acre lake and famed golf courses. The resort's Palmer Course also saw a complete renovation and is now up to professional tournament standards. Also completely transformed, is the two-story private
Member Clubhouse.
