11 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily

If only there were some kind of potion or pill that had everything you needed for good health. Unfortunately, no such pill exists, but there is a solution – something that not only promotes wellness, but tastes great too. The talented culinary team at PGA National Resort & Spa is proud to present to you our 'Super Foods Menu'. Each dish has incorporated into its receipt multitasking "super foods" that provide multiple disease-fighting nutrients. Who knew healthy could taste so good!

ASPARAGUS

is fabulous for helping the body to remove waste products. It tastes great when steamed, too! Asparagus is a great source of Vitamin K, which helps build strong bones and promote blood clotting.

ASPARAGUS

are pretty tough not to love. They are an excellent source of potassium, fiber and other vitamins. All of these healthy nutrients combine to offer a ton of cardiovascular benefits, and they also help to reduce the risk of a number of health concerns.

BEANS

are loaded with insoluble fiber, which helps lower cholesterol, as well as soluble fiber, which fills you up and helps rid your body of waste. They're also a low-fat source of protein, carbohydrates, magnesium and pottassium.

BEETS

are one of the richest dietary sources of antioxidants and nitrates, improving blood pressure and blood flow throughout the body, including the brain, heart and muscles. Beets are also quite the engergizer.

BERRIES

pack an incredible amount of nutritional goodness into a small package. They're loaded with antioxidants, phytonutrients, low in calories, and high in water and fiber to help control blood sugar and keep you full longer.

NUTS

have gotten a bad rap because of their high fat content. But their protiens, heart-healthy fats, high fiber, and antioxidant content earn them a place as a Super Food.

SALMON

is a super food because of its omega-3 fatty acid content. Studies shows that omega-3 fatty acids help protect heart health. That's why the American Heart Association recommends eating fatty fish like salmon twice weekly.

SPINACH

is rich in antioxidants and flavoroids this leafy friend can help boost your immune system, as well as fight cancer and other diseases. In addition to being one heck of a disease fighter, the flavoroids found in spinach can slow the signs of aging and keep your skin and hair looking young and your brain feeling sharp.

POMEGRANATES

are amazing fruits that may have up to seven times the amount of antioxidants of green tea! They may also fight cancer, and reduce blood pressure and bad cholesterol.
