Snap a photo of The Fairway Bride to win!

Look for roaming bride Lauren Masters during the Honda Classic.

At PGA National Resort & Spa, our Florida weddings are as spectacular as the golf tournaments we host, and during this Honda Classic the two converge for your chance to win a 4-day, 3-night stay in the PGA National Romance Suite.

During the weeklong Honda Classic, watch for Lauren Masters, PGA National Resort and Spa’s Fairway Bride who will be roaming the greens in a one-of-a-kind haute couture Belharra wedding gown. Snap a photo of the bride — in person or on television — then share your photo with us for a chance to win The Fairway Bride Sweepstakes. To better your odds, follow our social media feeds to keep tabs on Lauren. You never know, you may need to look for her at the spa as she gets ready, or at one of our many wedding venues as she attends to the day-of details. Have your camera at the ready.

The PGA National Resort & Spa’s Fairway Bride

Hello, my name is Lauren Masters, and I am a true romantic at heart! As a native Cape “Codder,” I spent my teenage years and college summers working at Massachusetts’
New Seabury Country Club. I loved getting on the course whenever possible, strengthening my game so I could compete with my brother. Being raised a tomboy, it was always a competition with us, and I'd like to think I held my own!

Growing up, I enjoyed playing every sport I could fit into my schedule, which was filled with dance training. I loved baseball, soccer and of course, golf. In my spare moments, I started to get involved with musical theatre. I attended the University of Notre Dame, where I continued to dance, play softball and hold my own in the dorm’s flag football league. I attended every Fighting Irish game possible — except when I was living abroad in Italy — and I think a lot of my fortitude comes from rooting for a football team that constantly gets your hopes up and lets you down.

After graduating, I went into corporate America, following the “realistic and logical” future. Although I got to travel a lot, which satiated a large part of my desires, I quickly realized I needed to feed my true passion. I began studying improv at The Second City in Chicago, eventually making the move to The Big Apple.

I am now a New Yorker, continuing my acting studies while auditioning as much as possible. I've been fortunate to be a part of some great television, film and theatrical productions, and I’ve learned what a starving artist's life is all about!  Of course, I still make time for my Beloved Red Sox, New England Patriots and the Fighting Irish when they're in season.

Since I was a little girl, I always envisioned my dream wedding on a golf course with palm trees, water views and a distant sea breeze. So when my friends at PGA National Resort & Spa were looking for a Fairway Bride to promote their destination wedding venues on and around their five championship golf courses, my brother encouraged me to vie for the Fairway Bride role … and here I am!! The official Fairway Bride-to-Be at PGA National Resort & Spa, and I couldn't be more excited!

Look for me (in the stunning dress) as I roam the newly designed Champion Course, along with the Palm Beach resort’s 500 acres, during the 2015 Honda Classic. All the while, I'll be searching for my potential “GBF” … Golf Buddy Forever. (Hey, you never know — every bride needs a groom, and I’ll be dressed the part. So you can’t blame a girl for trying.)
