Summer Golf Camp – Frequently Asked Questions
No question about it...Safety is #1. We owe our children the freedom to gain independence and experience new things while ensuring that as parents and teachers we have done everything possible to ensure their security and well-being at a happy summer camp.
How can parents be assured about safety concerns?
Every member of staff undergoes an extensive interview process and background check. We only hire professionals who have experience working with juniors and understand how to make children feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
How are campers supervised?
We have a low ratio of staff to campers, carefully supervising at all times, both on and off the course. Our PGA staff are selected for their golf teaching ability as well as their proven ability to successfully work with children and teens.
What does a camper’s day look like? What activities are planned?
We spend most of our time in the best place of all -- out on the practice facility. The PGA Junior Camp curriculum integrates instruction with engaging activities, using skill games, friendly competitions, and team events to ensure that educational meets fun in everything we do.
What if my child is new to golf?
We welcome brand new “future golfers.” Even if your child has never golfed before, our introductory curriculum has been developed around relaxed and positive feedback, encouragement...and most of all fun.
Are there any Florida junior golf camp tips for parents?
Yes. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. Do let us know if your child requires a set of clubs, a bag, and some balls. We’ll supply a spectacular setting, sunshine (to the best of our ability), and plenty of smiles (guaranteed)!
